Refinishing Process

Refinishing Process

1
Step 1
Cover all the surrounding surfaces.
2
Step 2
Surface preparation where we clean with an industrial cleaner.
3
Step 3
Repairs to any damaged areas - fill in the miter seam, chips, or burns - and ensure the surface is smooth.
4
Step 4
Apply our epoxy-based primer for a lasting bond.
5
Step 5
Apply our StoneFleck which provides the color and depth to the surfaces.
6
Step 6
Apply a StoneGuard which is a protective clear coat specially formulated for countertops, vanities, bathtubs, and surrounds.
7
Step 7
Tear down and clean up. This step is really important to us because we want the client to enjoy a completed project with no further work for them.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does a surface take to cure?

It is dry to touch within 8-hours, and you can place items on the surface after 24-hours.

Is there an odor?

We use an odor reducer in our product that minimizes odor from product usage, however, we recommend if a client or tenant is hyper-sensitive to smell, they wait for at least 24-hours before entering the unit.
